Black Birch Experiment

I cut this from the crotch of the birch I've been working with. I decided to turn it to it's final thickness while green. After it dried it warped a fair amount but still held together. A little hand sanding and there you have it. Nothing spectacular but it was a fun experiment. A good solid functional plate
