This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've always been interested in the visual arts. After High School I studied at the local community college. I then transferred to RISD where I got my Bachelor's degree in illustration. Things kind of went down hill after that and I took the first job that came my way as a graphic artist. The work soon became boring and I felt under-appreciated so I left and took a job working as a computer tech/administrator at a ski resort. that was fun for a while (Free skiing is always a bonus) but I eventually tired of it. Now I'm trying to get back into the art field and I couldn't have chosen a worse time what with the economy lately.
My worst flaw as an artist is that I have no specific focus. I also need to be given challenges...not a self starter. Anywho, I decided I'm going to stick with art for a while even if I starve. I feel it is my strongest talent so I would be foolish not to pursue it. I always welcome both positive and negative criticism so feel free to do so.

I haven't been able to turn anything for months. My lathe is in my dad's basement and my brother and his wife/kids moved in so I couldn't make any noise for fear of waking the young ones up. I helped them move last weekend and was hoping to get back to work. Alas, I broke my drive pulley yesterday and now I have to hunt down a new one Arrrghh!
If at any time You want to paint anything of mine go for it ok--thanks for the faves--the latest Torimba Wood Festival has just finished --If You want to see some stuff let me know OK

Do not fall into the error of the artisan who boasts of twenty years of experience when in reality they have only one year repeated twenty times.
